To uphold our responsibility to the environment, beyond all legal and regulatory requirements, we will ensure to undertake the following activities;
- To integrate environmental management into our everyday business operations.
- To improve our environmental sustainability.
- To comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and exceed these where possible.
- To continue to reduce our carbon footprint, by recycling appropriate recyclable products wherever possible.
- To continue to invest in sustainable, local contracting partners for ethical and environmentally friendly waste disposal
- To maintain an ‘electrical devices off’ policy wherever possible and ensure that all non-business critical devices are turned off at the mains electricity supply when the premises are cleared for the evening, and when not in use.
- To ensure understanding of environmental requirements and implementation of standards among our employees, suppliers, and contractors through a program of increased employee awareness and training.
- We will seek to reduce packaging as much as possible and purchase packaging from sustainable companies.
- We will continue to use recyclable and recycled paper for all our business operations.
- When purchasing new technological products for our operations; energy consumption and efficiency will be taken into consideration in the purchasing process.
- Cleaning materials used will be as environmentally friendly as possible, whilst remaining as effective as possible.
- We will use local labour and materials where possible, in order to reduce the levels of CO2 within our community and surrounding areas from unnecessary transportation.
